Philippine Eagle Height/Length: How Tall Are They?
The Philippine Eagle is a rare and strong forest raptor that is particularly notable for its length. Due to this feature, you can quickly identify them from a distance.
Interestingly, the bird exhibits sexual dimorphism, as the female is much taller than the male.
The Philippine Eagle can be as tall as 3 feet and generally are not bigger than 3.5 feet. However, the average size of the Philippine Eagle is 95 cm or 3 ft 1 inch for males and 105 cm or 3 ft 5” for females.

While the juvenile Philippine eagles are comparatively smaller, the adult of these species can be very large.
The Philippine eagle is commonly claimed to be between 86 to 102 cm or 2 ft 10 in to 3 ft 4 in in total length.
However, based on certain research, the world’s biggest Philippine Eagle is measured to be on an average length of 95 cm (3 ft 1 in) for males and 105 cm (3 ft 5 in) for females.
Philippine Eagle Size Comparison To Human
The Philippine eagle weighs about the same as a healthy one-year-old newborn, yet its wingspan surpasses the height of most normal human adults.
On average, the height of an adult human ranges between 5.5-5.9ft.
In the case of a Philippine Eagle its overall height is 3 feet, but with its wings wide open the height increases to around 7 feet or 2 meters, which is way greater than the adult human height.
So, you can imagine how huge the bird would be.

The Philippine Eagle and Harpy Eagle are somewhat similar in their size. In fact, these two eagle species are one of the largest birds in the family of Accipitridae. Small differences in their body type and plumages make them distinct from each other.
